Moderasi beragama dan pendidikan: upaya pembentukan karakter toleran pada generasi muda
Abstract
Religious moderation is an approach to practicing religion that emphasizes balance, tolerance, and respect for differences. In the field of education, the values of religious moderation play an important role in shaping young generations to become open-minded individuals who can live peacefully within a diverse society. This article discusses the role of education as a key medium for instilling the values of religious moderation through curriculum integration, teacher role-modeling, and inclusive school culture. The analysis shows that applying religious moderation in educational environments helps students develop into tolerant individuals who are not easily influenced by extreme views and who can build positive relationships with various groups. Thus, education holds a significant role in preparing a young generation that is moderate and appreciative of diversity.
