Peran Ma’had dalam meningkatkan literasi al-Qur’an mahasantri UIN Maliki Malang

Upaya pembinaan Qur’ani berbasis program Ta’lim Ma’had al-Jami’ah

Abstract

Studying the Qur'an is an obligation for every Muslim that must be carried out and improved to deepen faith and piety. This is also the main reason why the ability to read the Qur'an is a very important priority in the Islamic education system in general. The ability to read the Qur'an is a very important mainstay and a factor needed by all students who are studying at Islamic higher education institutions. However, in reality, it is often found that some new students still have difficulty reading the Qur'an fluently and correctly according to the rules of tajwid. Responding to this condition, Ma'had Al-Jami'ah UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang took the initiative to take the main role as a guidance institution tasked with improving students' Qur'an literacy through the Ta'lim Al-Qur'an and Tashih program. Direction and guidance are also made systematically, including grouping students based on ability levels, intensive guidance, and periodic monitoring and review of the quality of student reading. The main objective of this program is to produce graduates who are skilled and proficient in reading the Qur'an, mastering and understanding the principles of tajweed, and having a strong foundation as a foundation for further religious studies.
