Abstract
The development of the digital economy has brought significant changes to Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), including in Talun Subdistrict, Blitar Regency. This study aims to evaluate the implementation of digital economy socialization for MSMEs, focusing on the use of social media for product promotion and branding as well as the adoption of digital payment systems to improve transaction efficiency. The method employed involved direct socialization and mentoring for MSME actors, followed by observation and evaluation of their ability to adapt to digital technologies. The results indicate that the integration of digital technology can expand market reach, increase operational efficiency, and strengthen product competitiveness. However, challenges such as limited digital literacy, resistance to change, and infrastructure constraints still hinder the optimal adoption of technology. Capacity-building strategies through continuous training and practical mentoring have proven effective in enhancing MSMEs’ ability to manage social media and digital payment systems. This study emphasizes that MSME digitalization is a key pillar in realizing the Smart Kelurahan concept, which promotes local economic empowerment through information technology, enhances innovation, and strengthens the competitive capacity of the community’s economy.
