Kajian hadis terhadap maraknya body shaming di media sosial
Abstract
Body shaming is becoming more common in the digital age, which has seen fast growth in technology. People no longer need to use water tanks or pens to connect with others through social media, which is now part of everyday life. Because of this, users can be harmed through mental and psychological methods. This study looks at how body shaming has increased through social media and examines it through the lens of Hadith. From the Hadith, it is clear that insulting someone's body is not allowed in Islamic teachings, as it goes against good behavior and can hurt others. Several Hadiths stress this, such as the one where the Prophet reprimanded Aisha for commenting on Syafiyah's appearance, the advice to speak kindly or wisely, and the warning against the behavior of Ibn Masud. These Hadiths align with the values found in the Qur'an, specifically in Surah Al-Hujurat verse 11 and Surah Al-Humazah verse 1. This research is helpful for promoting good morals and responsible use of social media, and it can be successful in online communities. The study aims to add value to Islamic studies, especially the field of Hadith, and to raise awareness about how people interact, especially on social media
