Startegi ketahanan bank syariah dalam menghadapi risiko likuiditas di tengah volatilitas suku bunga global
Abstract
This study aims to evaluate the resilience strategies of Islamic Commercial Banks in managing liquidity risk amidst global interest rate fluctuations. Despite operating on interest-free principles, Islamic banking faces external challenges such as shifts in depositor behavior and cost-of-fund dynamics triggered by international market volatility. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, this research analyzes risk mitigation instruments, including the optimization of Asset Liability Management (ALM) and the utilization of sukuk as liquidity buffers. The results indicate that proactive risk governance and the integration of macroprudential policies are crucial for maintaining operational stability. These findings underscore the importance of diversifying funding sources and maintaining adequate liquidity reserves to sustain public trust and the overall resilience of the Islamic financial system in the face of future economic uncertainty.
