Inovasi pembelajaran matematika melalui media metaverse dan pemodelan matematis
Abstract
The advancement of digital technology has significantly influenced education, particularly mathematics learning. Utilizing metaverse-based learning media allows student to engange in immersive and interactive learning, while mathematical modeling offers a sytematic approach to understand complex phenomena conceptually. This article aims to review the concepts and implementation of innovative mathematics learning through the integration of metaverse media and mathematical modeling, analyzing scholarly works by lectures of UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang as primary references. The method employed is a literature review from relevant articles, book, and academic works. Findings indicate that metaverse use can enhace student motivation and engagement, whereas mathematical modeling strengthens conceptual understanding and real-world application. The combination of these approaches presents an opportunity for more adaptive, comprehensive, and holistic mathematics education. In conclusion, this innovation holds substantial potential to improve the quality of mathematics education in the digital era, although it requires support in terms of infrastructure, teacher training, and relevant curricululum.
