Pendidikan anti korupsi berbasis islam sebagai strategi pembentukan karakter integritas mahasiswa
Abstract
Corruption is a serious problem that damages governance, public trust, and academic morality. This study aims to analyze Islamic-based anti-corruption education as a strategy for forming students’ integrity character in Islamic higher education institutions. The method used is a literature study with a qualitative-descriptive approach to relevant scholarly sources. The discussion shows that the values of shidq, amanah, justice, mas’uliyyah, and the prohibition of taking others’ rights unlawfully serve as ethical foundations for building anti-corruption awareness. Integrating these values into Qur’an and Hadith courses, Islamic Religious Education, Pancasila, and other academic activities can strengthen students’ knowledge, attitudes, and ethical actions. Ma’had culture, lecturer role models, student organizations, academic codes of ethics, and transparent campus governance function as spaces for integrity habituation. This study concludes that Islamic-based anti-corruption education must be implemented curricularly, institutionally, and sustainably so that students not only understand corruption as a legal violation, but also reject it as a moral, social, and spiritual deviation. Periodic evaluation is also needed to measure its academic relevance consistently.
