Etika dan moral dalam perspektif pendidikan islam

This article discusses the concepts of ethics and morality from the perspective of Islamic education as fundamental pillars in shaping human character. In Islamic education, ethics and morality are not merely behavioral standards but are manifestations of faith-based values rooted in the Qur'an and the Sunnah The rapid advancement of social life and technology has given rise to various moral challenges, making it essential to strengthen value-based Islamic education so that it remains relevant in contemporary society. This article aims to examine the role of Islamic education in fostering ethical and moral development among learners, enabling them to grow into individuals with noble character. It also evaluates the various approaches and methods employed in the educational process. The discussion focuses on the systematic and continuous integration of Islamic values into educational activities. Through this study, a deeper understanding is sought regarding the role of educators as role models, the importance of habituating positive attitudes and behaviors, and the cultivation of spiritual values in character development. Islamic education serves not only as a means of transmitting knowledge but also as an instrument for building students' character based on Islamic principles. Therefore, Islamic education is expected to provide effective solutions to moral challenges in the modern era and contribute to the development of individuals who uphold strong moral values in their daily lives.
