Mental health has become an important issue in modern life due to increasing social, academic, and technological pressures experienced by the younger generation, especially Generation Z. This article aims to examine the concept of mental health in Islam, the prophetic soul therapeutic approach based on the teachings of Prophet Muhammad SAW, and its implementation in Islamic boarding schools (pesantren). This study uses a qualitative approach with a literature review method by analyzing journals, books, and academic articles related to Islamic psychology and mental health. The findings show that Islamic mental health emphasizes the balance between spiritual, emotional, intellectual, and social aspects. Prophetic therapeutic practices are implemented through prayer, dhikr, recitation of the Qur’an, patience, and trust in Allah as spiritual coping mechanisms. In pesantren environments, these values are applied through congregational worship, character education, Islamic counseling, and mentoring programs for students. This approach helps students manage psychological pressures and maintain emotional stability in the digital era. Therefore, prophetic soul therapy can serve as a holistic and relevant mental health development model for Muslim youth.
