Ad-dakhil fi tafsir dalam hadis (prinsip menerima dan menolak hadis doif dan palsu)

This journal discusses the concept of ad-dakhil in Qur’anic exegesis, particularly in relation to the inclusion of da’if (weak) and maudhu’ (fabricated) hadiths in exegetical literature. Linguistically, ad-dakhil means a foreign element that has infiltrated, and in the context of exegesis, it refers to narrations that lack a valid basis but nevertheless influence the interpretation of the Qur’an. This study aims to explain the concept of ad-dakhil, define weak and fabricated hadiths, outline the legal rulings regarding the use of both as evidence, and provide concrete examples of the presence of ad-dakhil in classical exegetical works. The method employed is a literature review, drawing upon primary sources from scholars of hadith and exegesis. The findings indicate that scholars differ in their views regarding the use of weak hadiths in exegesis; some prohibit it outright, some permit it under strict conditions, and others permit it only in the context of the virtues of deeds (fadha’il al-‘amal). As for fabricated hadiths, all scholars agree on an absolute prohibition against their use under any circumstances. It is hoped that this research will serve as a reference for scholars of tafsir in assessing the quality of the narrations used as the basis for interpretation.
