The Dynamics of leadership, education, and islamic civilization during the era of the Rightly Guided Caliphs

The era of the Khulafaur Rashidin represents an important period in Islamic history that laid the foundation for the development of leadership systems, education, and Islamic civilization. This study aims to examine the dynamics of leadership as well as the contributions to education and Islamic civilization during the reigns of Abu Bakr Ash-Shiddiq, Umar ibn Khattab, Uthman ibn Affan, and Ali ibn Abi Talib. The method used is a literature review by analyzing various related sources.The results of the study indicate that leadership during this period was participatory, based on consultation (shura), justice, and Islamic values. In the field of education, mosques functioned as centers of learning that integrated spiritual, intellectual, and social aspects. Meanwhile, Islamic civilization developed rapidly in the political, economic, and social fields through organized and just systems.Thus, the era of the Khulafaur Rashidin not only serves as an ideal model of Islamic leadership but also makes a significant contribution to the formation of intellectual traditions and a sustainable Islamic civilization that remains relevant to modern challenges.
