Globalization has had a significant impact on society, especially Generation Z, who are growing up amid the rapid development of digital technology and social media. Easy access to information brings positive effects in education, communication, and the dissemination of knowledge. However, it also presents challenges to the moral development of young people. The rise of consumerist lifestyles, declining communication ethics, the spread of negative information, and the lack of control in using social media have become issues that require serious attention. In this context, the Qur’an plays an important role as a guide for Muslims in shaping the morals of Generation Z so they can maintain good character in the era of globalization. This paper aims to examine the role of the Qur’an in forming the morals of Generation Z and the application of Qur’anic values in daily life. The method used is a literature review by utilizing various sources from books, journals, and academic literature. The results show that the Qur’an contains moral values such as honesty, responsibility, discipline, tolerance, and wisdom in using social media. These values can be applied through the habit of reading the Qur’an, improving religious understanding, and practicing Islamic ethics in both social and digital life, thereby forming a generation that is morally upright and responsible.
