Abstract

English abstract Homework should ideally serve as a means for pupils to develop, but in reality it often leads to academic pressure. This studi aims to analyse pupils behavioural orientations towards completing homework from a psychological perspective. Data were collected via a questionnaire distributed to 213 pupils. The data were analysed using descriptive statistics to determane the mean and standard deviation for each behavioural indicators. The result indicate that students tend to prioritise time efficiency (M=3.85) over in-depth exploration of the material (M=3.15). this suggest that time management is used merely as a coping strategy to avoid academic pressure. In concluson, high academic pressure can hinder divergent thingking abilities, leading to mechanistic behavioural tendencies.
