Pengaruh pembelajaran online terhadap pemahaman matematika siswa

Online learning has become one of the main choices in education today, especially with the advancement of digital technology and changes in teaching methods across various institutions. This study aims to evaluate how online learning affects students’ understanding of mathematics. The methodology used is descriptive qualitative with a literature study approach and observations of online learning activities. Data were collected from various sources such as educational journals, books, and observations of students’ activities during online learning. The results of the study indicate that online learning has both positive and negative impacts on students’ understanding of mathematics. The positive impacts include flexibility in learning time, easier access to digital learning resources, and improved students’ ability to use educational technology. On the other hand, the negative impacts identified include limited direct interaction between teachers and students, lack of concentration during learning, and difficulties in understanding abstract mathematical concepts.
