Curriculum development in Islamic education is an important process that includes planning, implementing, evaluating, and improving the curriculum to achieve educational goals effectively. The Islamic education curriculum is not only to achieve educational goals effectively. The Islamic education curriculum not only functions as a learning guideline, but also as a means of forming students' character, morals, and Islamic values. The curriculum development aims to create a balance between general knowledge, Islamic values, life skills, and character building. In its implementation, curriculum development is influenced by various factors, such as the development of science and technology, community needs, government policies, student development, and religious and cultural values. In the modern era, Islamic educational institutions are required to be able to integrate science, technology, and Islamic values so that learning is more relevant to the times. In addition, curriculum development also faces various challenges, such as globalization, limited infrastructure advice, and the readiness of educators. However, technological developments and increasing public awareness of character education are great opportunities in creating a more innovative Islamic education curriculum
