An Analysis of Character Education Values in the Animated Film *Upin and Ipin*

This article provides a comprehensive and in-depth examination of the character education values contained in the animated series "Upin & Ipin" and their relevance as an external learning medium for early childhood. This article employs a descriptive qualitative approach using text analysis, discourse analysis, and critical literature review to identify various character values represented through the actions, dialogue, and social interactions of the characters in the Kampung Durian Runtuh setting. The findings reveal that the "Upin & Ipin" series consistently integrates key character pillars, including religious values, honesty, tolerance, discipline, hard work, independence, curiosity, and social responsibility. This interdisciplinary analysis confirms that the integration of educational visual media with appropriate guidance strategies can be strategically optimized as an effective external learning tool to support the constructive stimulation of moral development and character building in young children in the digital age.
