Implementasi manajemen berbasis sekolah: dalam meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran melalui pengembangan profesional guru

This research aims to analyze the implementation of School-Based Management (SBM) to enhance learning effectiveness thru teacher professional development. The focus of the study is directed toward how SBM empowers schools, involves teachers in decision-making, and demands accountability that impacts the improvement of educational quality. The study is conducted using a literature review approach from various academic sources, educational regulations, and research findings related to the implementation of SBM and teacher professional development strategies. This analysis is focused on the relationship between SBM policies, teacher professional competence, and learning effectiveness. The findings show that SBM grants schools the authority to manage resources independently, strengthen community participation, and improve school quality. Teachers who are involved in decision-making and given the opportunity to participate in training, development, and evaluation will become more creative, feel appreciated, and be motivated to work professionally. The increased professionalism of teachers influences the creation of a conducive, interactive, and needs-based learning process for students.
