This article emphasizes that students' psychological well-being is a crucial foundation for their academic performance and quality of life. Psychological well-being is not only related to emotional aspects but also directly influences the speaking anxiety often experienced by EFL students. Speaking anxiety is not simply a linguistic barrier, but rather a reflection of a suboptimal mental state. Within Ryff's theoretical framework, the dimensions of self-acceptance and environmental mastery have been shown to influence students' ability to manage anxiety. Furthermore, intrapersonal and interpersonal intelligence play a significant role in increasing learning motivation, while a conducive classroom climate is a supporting factor that strengthens the learning process. Findings from various studies in Indonesian universities indicate that mindfulness-based interventions can reduce anxiety levels while strengthening positive self-concept. This strategy helps students accept themselves as they are, master their learning environment, and develop more mature emotional intelligence. Therefore, strengthening psychological well-being through self-acceptance, environmental mastery, and emotional intelligence development is an effective approach. This article concludes that the combination of mindfulness and the development of positive self-concept can be a strategic solution to improve psychological well-being while reducing students' speaking anxiety, particularly in the context of learning English as a foreign language (EFL).
