A child's psychosocial development is a process influenced by various factors, one of which is the parenting style provided within the family environment. Parents are the primary figures responsible for shaping a child's ability to interact with others, understand feelings, and adapt to the social environment at every stage of development. Therefore, the quality of parenting applied from an early age is closely related to the formation of a child's character and future social-emotional maturity. This study was conducted by reviewing various scientific literature discussing the relationship between parenting styles and psychosocial development. Sources used included academic books, scientific articles, and research findings relevant to the topic. The analysis was conducted by examining published findings to obtain a more comprehensive picture of the influence of parenting styles on child development. Based on the results, it was found that the form of parenting applied within the family has a significant impact on a child's psychosocial development. Children who grow up in a warm, responsive environment that provides space for independence tend to have better communication skills, high levels of self-confidence, and the ability to manage emotions more effectively. In addition, they also find it easier to establish healthy social relationships and demonstrate good adaptability when faced with environmental changes
