Abstract

The transformation of productive waqf in the digital era has become an important part of the development of modern Islamic economics. The use of digital technology in waqf management provides convenience in the process of collecting, managing, and distributing waqf benefits to society in a more effective and transparent manner. Productive waqf not only functions as a form of social worship, but also as an instrument for empowering the economic welfare of the community through the development of assets in productive business sectors such as agriculture, trade, and sharia investment. The results of waqf management can be utilized to support education, healthcare, business capital assistance, and the improvement of community welfare. The digitalization of waqf is also able to increase public trust through a more accountable and accessible management system. However, the development of productive waqf in the digital era still faces several challenges, such as low public literacy, limited competence of nadzir, and digital system security issues. Therefore, cooperation between the government, waqf institutions, and society is needed to improve education, managerial professionalism, and technology-based regulations. With innovative and professional management, productive waqf has the potential to become a sustainable Islamic economic solution in improving community welfare.
