The Society 5.0 era has brought major changes to the lives of Generation Z, especially through the development of digital technology and social media that influence behavior, mindset, and moral awareness. Easy access to information provides positive impacts, but it also creates challenges such as declining moral values, lack of ethics in social media use, and low self-control. This study aims to examine the reconstruction of Islamic moral education in shaping the moral awareness of Generation Z in the Society 5.0 era. The research method used is a literature study by analyzing various scientific sources related to Islamic moral education, the characteristics of Generation Z, and technological development. The results show that Islamic moral education needs to be developed through adaptive approaches that are relevant to modern developments while still maintaining Islamic values. The cultivation of values such as honesty, responsibility, discipline, tolerance, and self-control can be carried out through the use of digital media, exemplary behavior, habituation, and strengthening the roles of family, schools, and society. Therefore, the reconstruction of Islamic moral education is expected to shape Generation Z into individuals who have strong character, good moral awareness, and the ability to use technology wisely in the Society 5.0 era.Downloads
