Due to social pressures, technology advancements, and complicated lifestyle changes, the mental health crisis has grown dramatically in the modern era. It is believed that traditional medical and psychiatric methods cannot completely address human requirements in a holistic manner, particularly when it comes to spiritual demands. The purpose of this study is to examine how spiritual self-healing techniques can be combined with traditional Islamic psychotherapy as a different approach to treating modern mental health issues. The research approach is a library study that examines a variety of works pertaining to the idea of self-healing from the viewpoints of the Qur'an, Sufi principles, and the ideas of traditional Islamic psychotherapists. The findings indicate that self-healing in Islam entails spiritual disciplines like patience, self-control, qiyamul lail (the night prayer), and dhikr (remembrance of God). In contrast, the foundation of mental health in traditional Islamic psychotherapy is the harmony of the mind, soul, and surroundings. When these two methods are combined, a holistic healing paradigm is created that integrates spiritual, emotional, and cognitive elements. As a result, this strategy is pertinent as a different way to deal with the contemporary mental health crisis.Downloads
