Kecerdasan buatan dalam ilmu biologi: transformasi riset, bioinformatika, dan bioteknologi di era digital
Keywords:
smart computers, study of life information, use of living things, learning through machines, studying nature with computers.Abstract
Artificial Intelligence (AI) has caused a big change in the field of biological sciences, affecting areas like bioinformatics, ecology, microbiology, and biotechnology. This article looks at how AI technology, like machine learning, deep learning, and neural networks, is used to speed up and enhance the accuracy of biological research by comparing different ideas and approaches. This article uses a method of looking at literature and comparing studies to highlight four key areas where AI is used in biology: (1) AI help in analyzing genes and proteins; (2) predicting the roles of enzymes and how biomolecules interact; (3) using smart sensors to monitor biodiversity and ecology; and (4) creating biocontrol agents and advanced agricultural biotechnology. The results show that AI can cut down the time it takes to analyze complicated biological data from years to just days, and it creates new opportunities for scientific discoveries that traditional methods couldn't reach before. But using AI in biology also brings some challenges, such as the quality of training data, how easy it is to understand the models, and concerns about research ethics. This article concludes that combining biological science with AI is essential in today's research world. It suggests that biology programs should include skills in computing and artificial intelligence.
