Work motivation is one of the important factors in human resource management that affects the quality of employee performance in an organization. Companies are not only required to be able to provide a good work system, but also need to understand how motivation can affect employee productivity, loyalty, and morale. This article aims to examine the influence of work motivation on employee performance through a literature review approach by analyzing various relevant previous studies. The method used in this study is a literature study by collecting data from scientific journals, research articles, and other academic sources related to work motivation and human resource management. The results of the study show that work motivation has a significant relationship with improving employee performance. Factors such as rewards, work environment, leadership, and self-development opportunities are elements that encourage increased individual motivation at work. In addition, previous research has also shown that companies that are able to create a good motivation system tend to have higher levels of employee productivity and loyalty. Thus, work motivation is an important part of the human resource management strategy to achieve organizational goals effectively and sustainably.Downloads
