Artificial Intelligence (AI) has become a transformative technology that significantly influences the field of education. This study aims to analyze the opportunities, challenges, and impacts of AI implementation in the learning process, particularly for students and lecturers. The method used is a literature review of relevant academic sources. The findings indicate that AI offers opportunities to enhance learning effectiveness through personalized learning, automated assessment, and easier access to information. For students, AI supports faster understanding, independent learning, and instant feedback. For lecturers, AI improves efficiency in preparing materials, evaluating performance, and analyzing student progress.nHowever, AI implementation also presents challenges, including limited technological infrastructure, low digital literacy, and ethical as well as data privacy concerns. Students may become overly dependent on technology, potentially reducing critical thinking skills, while lecturers face difficulties in adapting to new technologies and maintaining academic integrity. The impact of AI is therefore dual in nature: it can improve learning quality and academic productivity, but also risks creating digital inequality and misuse. Hence, strategic and responsible integration of AI is essential to maximize its benefits and minimize its drawbacks.
