Islamic spiritual studies do not merely address the vertical relationship between humans and God, but also explore the psychological structure that shapes the integrity of a Muslim’s character. This article aims to analyze the concept of the unity of the spiritual anatomy comprising tawakal, mahabbah, ridha, ikhlas, muhasabah, and muraqabah as an interconnected ecosystem of the soul. This study employs a qualitative method with a literature review approach, analyzing both classical and contemporary Islamic texts. The findings reveal that these six elements are inseparable from one another, as each plays a fundamental role in cultivating human spiritual awareness. Ikhlas and muhasabah serve as the roots that preserve the purity of intention and facilitate self-evaluation. Tawakal and muraqabah function as the trunk that supports spiritual steadfastness in facing the dynamics of life. Ridha serves as the emotional and spiritual response to Allah’s decree, while mahabbah is both the pinnacle and the fruit of a Muslim’s spiritual journey. This concept of spiritual anatomy demonstrates that the formation of the human soul in Islam occurs in a holistic, integrative, and continuous manner. Thus, Islamic spirituality is not merely a matter of individual rituals, but rather a system of spiritual cultivation capable of shaping a person who is emotionally, socially, and religiously mature.
