This study aims to examine the effectiveness of time management training in improving self-regulation among college students. The low level of self-regulatory ability in first-year students, characterized by academic procrastination and difficulty managing academic demands, formed the basis for this intervention. The study employed a one group pretest-posttest design involving 20 second-semester students from the Psychology Department at UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang, selected through purposive sampling. The measurement instrument used was the Indonesian version of the Academic Self-Regulated Learning Questionnaire (ASLQ), adapted by Mukaromah et al, consisting of 11 items covering three dimensions: forethought, performance control, and self-reflection. The time management training intervention was designed based on the theory of Britton and Tesser, integrated with Zimmerman's self-regulation phases. Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test due to non-normal distribution of post-test data. Results showed an increase in mean score from 33.75 to 44.70, a difference of 10.95 points. Hypothesis testing yielded Z = -3.567 with p < 0.001, leading to the acceptance of the alternative hypothesis. A total of 18 out of 20 participants (90%) showed an improvement in scores after the training. These findings indicate that time management training is significantly effective in enhancing students' self-regulation capacity.
