Risk management is a fundamental aspect in maintaining stability and improving the financial performance of Islamic banks in an increasingly complex financial environment. This study aims to analyze the implementation of risk management in improving the financial performance of Islamic banks, particularly Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI). This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach through a literature review of academic journals and repository sources from UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang. The findings indicate that financing risk, liquidity risk, and operational risk significantly affect financial performance measured by Return on Assets (ROA), Non-Performing Financing (NPF), and Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR). Furthermore, digital services such as BSI Mobile contribute to efficiency and operational risk mitigation. This study concludes that integrated risk management aligned with technology and Sharia principles enhances competitiveness and financial stability of Islamic banks.
