The development of artificial intelligence technology has penetrated various sectors, including zakat management. Several Lembaga Amil Zakat (LAZ) in Indonesia have begun adopting predictive analytics systems to automatically identify and determine mustahik eligibility. However, the implementation of this technology raises fundamental questions from the perspective of Islamic economic law: whether algorithmic decisions generated by machines are aligned with Islamic legal principles. This study aims to analyze the application of predictive analytics in zakat mustahik selection through the Maqashid al-Syariah framework. The method used is normative-qualitative research with conceptual and statutory approaches. Data sources are derived from DSN-MUI fatwas, BAZNAS regulations, and relevant scientific literature. The findings indicate that the application of predictive analytics is permissible under Islamic law as long as it fulfills three main conditions: it does not fully replace the role of amil, there is a mechanism for manual human verification, and the system is inclusive toward mustahik who lack a digital footprint. This study contributes to the development of an adaptive Islamic legal framework in response to digital transformation in Islamic philanthropy.
