Bullying remains a serious problem in Indonesian elementary schools. Data from the Indonesian Child Protection Commission (KPAI) and the Federation of Indonesian Teachers' Unions (FSGI) show that elementary school students are the largest group of bullying victims compared to other education levels. This article aims to examine the forms of bullying in elementary schools, its impact on students, and prevention strategies schools can implement. A literature review approach was used, examining journal articles, official institutional reports, and relevant government regulations. The findings show that bullying in elementary schools appears in physical, verbal, and psychological/relational forms, and is increasingly extending into cyberbullying. Its impact is multidimensional, including psychological disturbances such as anxiety and low self-confidence, social difficulties such as peer-group isolation, and declining academic motivation and achievement. Effective prevention requires synergy between strengthened character education, teachers' active supervisory and exemplary roles, collaboration with parents, and consistent school policies in line with Ministerial Regulation No. 46 of 2023 on the Prevention and Handling of Violence in Education Units. In conclusion, bullying prevention in elementary schools cannot rely on a single party; it requires a collaborative and sustained approach involving the whole school community and families.Downloads
