Dinamika psikologis anak pertama perempuan
Tinjauan literatur mengenai parentifikasi dan tekanan ekonomi keluarga pada masa kanak-kanak

Firstborn daughters raised in families experiencing high economic pressure face an elevated risk of parentification, a condition in which a child prematurely assumes parental roles and responsibilities, both practically and emotionally. This article presents a narrative literature review aimed at mapping prior research findings on the relationship between childhood family economic pressure and the psychological patterns formed in firstborn daughters, drawing on both international and Indonesian contexts. The review examined academic sources addressing the concepts of parentification, the family stress model, birth order, and psychological well-being. The findings indicate that family economic pressure tends to increase the risk of emotional parentification in firstborn daughters, which in turn contributes to patterns of anxiety, people-pleasing tendencies, difficulty setting personal boundaries, and disruptions to psychological well-being in adulthood. The review also found that gender norms and collectivistic culture, including within the Indonesian family context, reinforce the tendency of firstborn daughters to assume the role of family caretaker. This review recommends further empirical research within Indonesian populations as well as psychoeducational interventions for families experiencing high economic pressure.
