This study examines the contribution of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in fostering students' morals at SMKN 3 Buntok. This study aims to describe the strategies used by PAI teachers, the challenges they face, and the steps taken to overcome them. To address these challenges, teachers implement a humanistic and collaborative approach. This study emphasizes the importance of active involvement of PAI teachers and the synergy of all school elements in supporting character education. Technological developments and the characteristics of Generation Z and Generation Alpha demand innovation in the teaching of Akidah Akhlak at the junior and senior high school levels. A humanistic approach positions students as the subjects of learning by emphasizing empathy, dialogue, and respect for individual differences. Meanwhile, active learning methods encourage direct student involvement through discussions, case studies, and project-based learning. Thus, the application of a humanistic approach and active learning can be an effective strategy in improving the quality of Akidah Akhlak learning in the modern era.Downloads
