Integrasi nilai-nilai islam dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia di madrasah ibtidaiyah

Indonesian Language learning in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) holds significant potential as a vehicle for internalizing Islamic values, yet this potential has rarely been examined systematically. This review article aims to critically analyze recent literature and research on strategies, opportunities, and challenges in intregating Islamic values into Indonesian Language instruction at the MI level. The method employed is systematic and comparative analysis of journal articles and books published between 2018 and 2024. The findings indicate that Islamic based texts such as Islamic folklore, stories of the prophets, and religious poetry are effective media for literacy development and character formation simultaneously. Furthermore, contextual learning approaches that connect language skills with Islamic adab such as honesty in writing and courtesy in speaking are found to be more effective than conventional approaches. This study affirms that integrating Islamic values into Indonesian Language instruction is not merely about adding religious content, but about enriching students’ literacy competencies holistically.
