Rekonstruksi perilaku tokoh perempuan dalam novel Sang Maha Sentana perspektif Psikologi Behaviorisme B. F. Skinner

This study uses B. F. Skinner's behaviorist psychology theory to analyze the influence of environment and culture on the behavior of female characters in the novel Sang Maha Sentana. This study focuses on how social norms, customs, and gender pressures influence the emotional responses and actions of female characters. The analysis reveals that patriarchal culture, environment, customs, and social norms primarily shape the behavior of female characters, including obedience, sacrifice, and manipulation. This study employs a descriptive approach with primary data drawn from the literary work Sang Maha Sentana. Secondary sources were obtained from related literature. Data were collected through reading and note-taking and analyzed using the Milles and Hubberman technique. The obtained data was examined using Skinner's behaviorist psychology theory. This study concludes that social norms, the environment, and restrictive customs greatly influence the behavior and thought patterns of female characters in the novel.
