Indonesia's Islamic banking industry has grown rapidly, with total financing reaching IDR 685.55 trillion in October 2025 and total assets surpassing one thousand trillion rupiah, yet academic studies remain focused on the retail segment, leaving corporate financing underexplored despite its markedly different risk profile and contracts. This article analyzes the corporate banking strategy of PT Bank Muamalat Indonesia Tbk in financing corporate clients, the sharia contracts used, and its risk management practices following the capital strengthening by the Hajj Fund Management Agency (BPKH) since 2022. A descriptive-qualitative approach based on documentary study of secondary data was employed, drawing on press releases, annual reports, OJK regulations, and DSN-MUI fatwas. The findings show that Bank Muamalat applies both bilateral and syndicated financing, exemplified by the IDR 2.5 trillion syndication for PT Dayamitra Telekomunikasi (Mitratel) with Bank Syariah Indonesia and the IDR 700 billion syndication for PT CIMB Niaga Auto Finance, utilizing musyarakah for joint financing and murabahah for working capital, while applying prudential principles through compliance with the Maximum Fund Disbursement Limit. BPKH's capital injection has significantly driven the corporate segment's expansion, contributing conceptually to sharia-based corporate financing literature and offering practical implications for Islamic banks developing wholesale banking strategies in Indonesia.
