Education today faces complex challenges that cannot be adequately addressed solely through cognitive mastery. This article comprehensively examines the synergy between intellectual, emotional, and spiritual intelligence in shaping a generation of character. Through analysis of various literatures, it is found that these three types of intelligence are interconnected and equally influential on individual behavior, achievement, and well-being. Spiritual intelligence is proven to have the greatest influence in suppressing aggressive behavior, while emotional intelligence plays an important role in self-management and social relationships. Human brain development is highly dependent on healthy social-emotional experiences, which emphasizes the importance of a holistic approach in education. The values of adab (etiquette) and role modeling as taught in classical pesantren tradition become an important foundation that strengthens the holistic development of intelligence. This article concludes that education that integrates these three intelligences with a foundation of spiritual values and adab will produce individuals who are not only academically intelligent, but also emotionally mature, strongly characterized, and able to make positive contributions to society. Recommendations include the need for curriculum reformulation that accommodates multiple intelligence development and teacher training in holistic approaches.
