Penyelesaian penyelewengan dana oleh pengelola internal dalam perusahaan asuransi
Abstract
This study aims to understand how the efforts made by insurance companies to resolve violations that exist within the insurance company, one of which, such as the misappropriation of premium funds committed by one of the agents in the company, will have a negative impact on the company's reputation and reduce public trust in insurers. The method used in this research is the literature review method. With the method of collecting the necessary data is by analyzing articles and journals from previous studies that are in accordance with the discussion under study. The results of this study are that the insurer, in this case, the insurance company, will take firm action against agents who commit violations by doing several things, namely summons, warning, unilateral termination, and compensation for the policyholder. In addition, the insurance company will notify governmental and non-governmental organizations, policyholders, and the general public that the agent is no longer bound by the insurance company and does not have the authority to collect premiums from policyholders. This aims to increase and improve public trust in insurance companies so that people continue to use the services offered by insurance companies.
