Pentingnya penanaman nilai moral di pesantren dalam mengatasi perilaku kenakalan pada generasi Z
Abstract
Technological developments and globalization can directly or indirectly affect the moral development of the Gen Z generation. Entering the era of globalization, humans are beginning to break away from traditional ways of life and replace them with ways of life. The trend of today's modern lifestyle has both positive and negative impacts. The purpose of this study was to determine the role of Islamic boarding schools for children, especially adolescents in overcoming social and moral crises. This study uses a descriptive analysis approach to discuss themes through library research techniques. The results of the study show that Islamic boarding schools play a central role in overcoming and preventing the moral decline of adolescents in globalization eras. Changes in teaching methods and educational concepts must keep up with the times. Seeing the developments in the Gen Z era, there are many delinquent behaviors, especially teenagers, morals are no longer ignored in their daily lives. The lifestyle of today's teenagers who are trending has a positive impact as well as a huge negative impact. So that in his life in terms of speaking to older people, Gen Z teenagers don't pay attention to that. Therefore education in Islamic boarding schools is an institution that is known by the community in helping the formation of morals in their young children. Islamic boarding schools' efforts to overcome juvenile delinquency are preventive actions, repressive actions, namely taking therapeutic actions. Guiding students to take positive actions in their spare time to participate in extracurricular activities in Islamic boarding schools.
