Abstract
The concept of understanding spirit, mind, lust, and heart in the context of human life is the focus of this journal. Humans are considered as God's most perfect creatures because they have three main elements: physical, spiritual, and nafsani. The body is the visible and material physical aspect, while the spirit is an abstract aspect that is multi-dimensional and becomes the prime mover of the human body. Nafsani is the element that connects the body and the soul, consisting of mind, heart and lust.
In the context of religion, the spirit is considered as a spiritual dimension of man that transcends physical and material existence. Spirit is the essence of spiritual identity, the source of life, consciousness, and the purpose of human life. The concept of reason is related to the human ability to think, feel, and understand the world. Reason involves reasoning, logic, and rational thinking, and plays a role in making decisions based on objective thinking. Lust refers to human impulses or desires that arise from instincts and emotions. Lust is often associated with worldly desires, the satisfaction of material needs, and challenges in managing these drives. The heart includes various dimensions such as intuition, emotions and human self-awareness. The heart plays a role in ethical decisions, inner life, and the relationship between thoughts and feelings.
An understanding of spirit, mind, lust, and heart provides insight into the complexity of humans as creatures that have physical, spiritual, and psychological dimensions. These concepts can be viewed from a variety of religious, philosophical, and psychological perspectives. Each individual and culture can have different views in understanding these concepts. Developments in science and research have also contributed to our understanding of these aspects, including through approaches to neuroscience and evolutionary psychology.
