Problematika dan strategi pemulihan anak dengan gangguan post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) akibat keluarga broken home

Broken homes have a considerable negative impact on children's growth and development, including ongoing trauma known as post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). This study aims to explore problems and recovery strategies for children with PTSD disorders due to broken home families. The research method used is normative, then analyzed using references in the form of scientific articles and related books. The results showed that children with PTSD disorders due to broken home families tend to feel hurt, aloof, sad and no longer want to trust others which can make it decline in various fields including education. Feeling haunted or overshadowed by events that triggered his trauma can cause him not to want to marry when he grows up because his mindset considers that marriage is only a medium for quarrels, domestic violence and infidelity. The recovery strategies that can be done for children with PTSD disorders due to broken home families are positive coping techniques, seeking social emotional, distancing, self control and Positive Reapraisal. One way that is also important is to provide social support in the form of motivation, enthusiasm, directing and helping children in solving problems and providing enough attention and affection to children, especially from direct parents.
