Studi Islam tentang leadership dakwah Sunan Kalijaga di nusantara (Jawa)
Abstract
Islamic da'wah leadership in the nusantara, especially on the island of Java, did not just appear easily. But there is the role of the ulama’ who lived at that time. Among the muballigh or ulama’ there are some who are very popular among the people until this day, the famous ulama’ are usually called walisongo. Walisongo which consists of nine members of Sunan, one of whom is Sunan Kalijaga, he has a very important role in spreading Islam in Java island. Sunan Kalijaga in preaching has his own strategy that is more oriented to the arts and culture. He took this method because he felt it would be easier for the Javanese people to accept the teachings of Islam because it was in accordance with what they liked at that time. Among the methods used are wayang performances, through Javanese songs, gamelan, and others.
