Studi kasus di Pasar Dinoyo dan Pasar Landungsari
Abstract
Sharia business institutions are one of the tools used to control Islamic economic principles. An Islamic financial institution is a legal entity that specializes in Islamic finance and owns sharia-compliant financial and non-financial assets. Baitul Maal Wa Tamwil (BMT) was created as a result of the growth of Islamic financial institutions. In its activities, BMT has two functions, namely baitul maal and baitul tamwil. The BMT Sarana Wiraswasta Muslim Cooperative or better known as BMT SWM is one of the best BMT-based multi-business cooperatives in Malang City. This cooperative was officially established in August 1996. The business units run by BMT SWM are baitul maal units, trading units, and savings and loan units. One of the BMT SWM products is murabahah financing using a murabahah contract. Murabahah is a type of bai', namely buying and selling plus a certain amount of profit agreed between the seller and the buyer. This study uses a qualitative approach, namely observation and interview methods conducted at the BMT Sarana Malang Muslim Entrepreneurs Cooperative to understand the implementation of murabaha funding contracts for Muslim Entrepreneurs BMT Sarana.
