Peran Perpustakaan Pinggir Kali (Pupinka) dalam meningkatkan budaya literasi informasi anak di RW 03 Kelurahan Bugis Sumbawa Besar
Abstract
Literacy culture is very important to do, this is because the cultivation of literacy culture from an early age, especially for children, can get used to having the ability to process and understand information when carrying out the process of reading and writing. develop effective communication skills so . Indonesian people are learning people who are thirsty for information and knowledge and are ready to become a nation that is advanced and has a high civilization. cultivating literacy culture at the riverside library (pupinka) trying to implement a literacy culture from an early age this can be seen from every competition held to support their literacy from an early age, the pupinka library itself is included in the activities that have been carried out such as watching together, reading challenges, outreach to the community regarding literacy and also guiding children in searching for information using computers. The obstacles faced while cultivating literacy in the community are the lack of human resources (HR), the lack of collection of library materials and also the lack of facilities provided.Downloads
