Penerapan pendidikan karakter dengan model pembelajaran berbasis keterampilan abad 21
Keywords:
Character education, Learning model, 21st century skillsAbstract
This article aims to deepen the analysis of the application of character education to students today. This has become relevant because quite a lot of students' behavior and attitudes have not yet reached their expectations, especially in the context of the current post-pandemic. This context is closely related to the use of 21st-century skill-based learning models that have been or are being implemented in school environments. The method used in writing this article is the study of literature. Through this study, several sources such as books, journals and other references have been reviewed to support the content of the article. The results of literary studies reveal that character education for today's students cannot be separated from the three main environments, family, school, and society. The 21st century skill-based learning model, applied to the learning process, serves as an attempt to shape the character of students. Of course, this approach must be adapted to the goals and needs of learning, so that the goals that have been set can be achieved optimally. Student character development is one of the main pillars of national educational goals.
