Sejarah kodifikasi al-Qur'an Mushaf Ustmani
Abstract
In the Ottoman era, the recording of the Al-Quran had a central role in Islamic history. This was caused by the spread of differences in the reading of the Al-Quran (qiraat) that emerged among Muslims at that time. Some people view certain qiraat as the best, while others share a similar view, and this difference even reaches a level where there are accusations of infidelity. This conflict attracted the attention and alarmed Islamic leaders. This prompted Uthman to take important steps by collecting and standardizing the text of the Al-Quran. These efforts culminated in the bookkeeping of the Koran using the Ottoman mushaf, which later became the standard for writing the Al-Quran that continues to this day. This article will examine the history of the codification of the Al-Quran through the Ottoman Manuscripts, focusing on the differences in the readings (qiraat) and the process of bookkeeping the Al-Quran. Apart from that, this article also discusses the significance of the bookkeeping of the Al-Quran in maintaining the purity and authenticity of this holy text.Downloads
