Abstract
Loloan Village is the village with the highest number of Muslims in Loloan. In this village we can find how strong tolerance between religious people is from Muslims and Hindu-Balinese there. The history of the formation of Loloan village itself has a long history divided into three periods, where the people who entered Loloan village came from the Bugis / Makassar tribe, Pontianak, and, Malay Malaysia. Using Malay language, Bugis silat art, ngejot custom, and many more. Where of the many tribes that enter Loloan makes Loloan no longer called the Bugis, Pontianak, or Malay tribes that exist only the Loloan tribe. In Loloan there are also many tombs of scholars who are evidence of the beginning of the entry of Islam in Loloan. The purpose of writing this journal is to describe the history of the formation of Loloan village and describe how tolerance was formed between Muslims in Loloan and Hindu-Balinese there.
