The Islamic economic system provides a foundation for the development of the welfare of the people during the time of the Prophet Muhammad SAW through the application of economic principles rooted in Islamic teachings. The main pillar of the Islamic economy at that time was zakat which had a significant impact on the development of the people's welfare. By focusing on the role of zakat in alleviating human suffering, this abstract will outline the basic principles of Islamic economic development during the time of the Prophet.
The basic principles of Islamic economics were put into practice during the time of the Prophet with the aim of creating a just, peaceful and interconnected society. The basic principles of Islamic economics include zakat, prohibition of usury (interest), promotion of halal business, and protection of private property rights. But in outline, zakat will be seen as a central idea.
Zakat has a central point in law because it functions as a requirement to give a heart to everyone in need.
