Abstract
As we know, Islam as a religion that is rahmatal li al-alamin entered Indonesia very easily and was well received by Indonesian people. Islam easily entered Indonesia because in its teachings, it does not recognize differences in ethnicity, race, nation, culture and so on. Since its inception, Islam in Indonesia has been based on Ahlusunnah wal-jama'ah. As for the method used in writing this article, namely by reviewing existing literature. The meaning of Nahdlatul Ulama' itself in language is the awakening of the ulama'. Nahdlatul Ulama', commonly abbreviated as NU, is an adherent of the Ahlu Sunnah Wal Jama'ah ideology which has the principles of tawasuth, tawazun, tasamuh, and I'tidal. Based on the description above, we can conclude that Nahdlatul Ulama' apart from being a religious organization, NU also influences the values of education in its teaching. Values in the form of attitudes of tawasuth, tasamuh, tawazun, and I'tidal are important to be practiced by followers and Muslims. These attitudes are also useful as training for teenagers, in reality many of whom follow radical ideology.
