Abstract

Soft skills are very important skills and must be possessed by every individual, especially for generations in order to create a generation that has high competitiveness. However, soft skills are often neglected in the world of education and learning. Apart from that, students' cognitive abilities need to be improved and the development of soft kills independently is still lacking by the students themselves. This is the reason researchers conducted research on soft skills at SDN 1 Kemantren. This research method is qualitative research with two data collection methods, namely interviews and observations of fifth grade students with a total of 68 students. The results obtained show that students still really need to be given an increase in soft skills.
