Abstract

The title of this article is “Risk Management Analysis in facing the Digital Era in Sharia Banking”. This article discusses operational risk management related to digital transformation in sharia banking. Risk management in Islamic banking is a set of procedures and methods for identifying, measuring, monitoring and controlling risk. As part of digital transformation, banks must have a well-organized risk management system and sophisticated technology in order to control risks caused by system and technology failures. The risk management system in Indonesian sharia banks includes several stages: risk identification, risk assessment and risk management. Bank Syariah Indonesia implements integrated risk management which is important for banks as issuers or listed companies. Banks also need to build a risk management system that is appropriate to the function and complexity of the bank, as well as providing public relations activities, discussion forums and a risk management culture. This research uses qualitative research methods and uses secondary data, which in this research uses existing literature which is then developed again.
